There are few sunsets comparable to the Chamberlain River at El Questro –

I’d love to know some geographical statistics here, as the state of Western Australia is mind-bogglingly HUGE. I’m quite sure a couple of Belgiums, a dozen or so Switzerlands and about nine Britains would fit within the borders of WA and the resident population over here is almost laughable in comparison.

Where the Timor Sea meets the Kimberley.

We’re not talking big crowds and that’s just the way they like it – more room to welcome and entertain the many visitors who find their way over despite the distance from the more populated east coast.

Swim with the whale sharks on Ningaloo Reef.

Pull into Coral Bay or Exmouth on the central west coast and get lost in the adventure of swimming with the whale sharks.

Whilst there are some seriously remote expanses of dirt here, it is WA that can boast being home to some of Australia’s most celebrated landscapes.  These are my favourites ….
