A group of us last week had the pleasure of hosting 12 Canadian & US pilots and friends down around Merimbula and Eden on the NSW Sapphire Coast. They had hired six aircraft through Darling Downs Aero Club and were touring through Australia with Air Safaris International, led by very capable founder and tour director, Clare McEwan. This was the same mob we used when we did our air safari through Eastern Canada in 2012, so it was lovely to see Clare on our shores and repay some hospitality.
Melbourne pilots Don Ross and Steve Weber put a great deal of thought and effort into a two day itinerary that seemed to go down very well with the visitors, and certainly showed them a lot of the beauty and history of this part of our eastern coastline. Enjoy the pic gallery below.
